Publication Frequency

The International Journal of Artificial Intelligence, Educational Technologies and Teacher Education – IJAIET adopts a Continuous Publication model, organized in an annual volume, with a strong commitment to internationalization, democratization of scientific knowledge, and increasing the visibility and global reach of published research.

Under this model, accepted articles are published individually as soon as all stages of the editorial workflow have been completed, including peer review, final acceptance, language revision, standardization, editorial production, DOI assignment, and preparation of publication formats, without the need to wait for the completion or closure of an entire issue.

As part of its Internationalization Policy, IJAIET adopts trilingual publication of articles in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. This policy aims to broaden the international circulation of scientific research, foster dialogue among researchers from different countries and linguistic communities, and contribute to the democratization of access to scientific knowledge.

Making articles available in three languages expands opportunities for reading, dissemination, discoverability, sharing, and international citation, strengthening the global visibility of authors and research published by the journal.

The Continuous Publication model promotes greater agility in scholarly communication by reducing the time between the final acceptance of a manuscript and its public availability. Research findings can therefore be accessed, shared, and cited immediately after publication.

Articles published throughout the year are progressively incorporated into the annual volume corresponding to the respective calendar year, while maintaining their individual and permanent bibliographic identification.

IJAIET may also publish thematic dossiers, special sections, and special collections throughout the annual volume without altering its Continuous Publication model.

By integrating Continuous Publication, trilingual publication, Open Access, and internationalization, IJAIET reaffirms its commitment to agile, inclusive, accessible, and global scholarly communication, promoting the circulation of knowledge in Portuguese, English, and Spanish and contributing to the reduction of linguistic barriers in access to scientific research.
